«Tempus projects unite!»

December 18, 2014 in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was held a meeting of heads of Tempus projects chaired by Petro Bekh, Vice-Rector (International Relations). The meeting was attended by Head of International Cooperation and European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Anna Novosad.
The slogan of the meeting was the apt Petro Bekh words "Tempus projects unite! We want to start cross-project collaboration and cooperation among Tempus projects implemented in KNU, for the dissemination of experience and best practices in the implementation of projects among other higher education institutions"
Svitlana Bilous the Head of a Group of Contracts and Projects of International Cooperation Department KNU were with the information at the meeting. Participants discussed the advantages and issues of Tempus projects. Each project team leader shared his experience in implementing projects, best practices and valuable achievements of projects. Faculties and Institutes of the University and other higher education institutions can use these results.
In particular, the project leader Professor Alexandr Chernyak said that under the project «IMPRESS - Improving the effectiveness of student services" were developed course "Social skills" for bachelors database employers catalog attributes with symbols of the university. An interesting initiative of this project is the launch of a Web resource for improving the entry of foreign students to the university.
Professor Vlolodymyr Zaslavskyi presented a web resource for informing staff and students about the activities of Tempus projects ALIGN.
Participants have supported the initiative the IMPRESS project to conduct on the basis of our University National Student Debate in April 2015.
Overall, during the 20-year history of Tempus in Ukraine Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv joined the implementation of 22 projects.
1. Promote a viable and autonomous systems of higher education in Eastern Neighbourhood (ATHENA).
2. Improved student services (IMPRESS).
3. European Neighbourhood Policy, Law and Good Governance (EUNEG).
4. Information and Management: qualifications framework according to Bologna(INARM)
5. Development of new curricula specialization: Master of Engineering in mikrosystemnomu design (MastMST).
6. Promoting the internationalization of higher education institutions in EaP countries through cultural and structural changes (PICASA).
7. Achieving a balance between regulation and educational programs and qualifications framework (ALIGN).
8. Network for the development of lifelong learning in Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine (LeAGU).
