Participation of the Tempus project working group ALIGN a Ukrainian-German Forum
In March 6, 2015 in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv held a Ukrainian-German Forum "Education, science and innovation in universities: current challenges". The forum organizators were the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany.
The purpose of the Forum is to establish close cooperation between MES Ukraine and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany (BMBF), between the Union of Rectors Ukraine and HRK (German Rector's Conference), between higher educational institutions of Ukraine and universities in Germany in educational programs, research and innovation universities, establishing academic mobility of students, teachers and researchers
At the plenary session of the Forum were: Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine S. Kvit, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of M. Strikha, Rector KNU Academic L. Hubersky, Director of Department of Collaboration with Eastern Europe Federal Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of Germany M. Schlicht.
After the plenary session work continued in sections. Forum participants discussed quality assurance, internationalization of higher education and successful models of commercialization of research in universities.
Representatives of the working group on the project TEMPUS ALIGN KNU also attended the plenary and sectional meetings.
Head of working group, head of Department for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Innovation Technologies, doctor of technical sciences, professor V. Zaslavskiy and participant of the project, junior scientific researcher O.Yamkova attended the section "Internationalization of Higher Education" and made a presentation on "The internationalization of education and mobility: experience of cooperation with universities in Germany within the framework of Ukraine and MES Tempus".
Participant of working group, Director of the Scientific-methodical center of the educational process, Associate Professor A. Hozhyk also made a presentation on "Implementing the requirements of European standards for quality assurance at the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko" in the framework of the workshop "Quality education" .
According to the results of the event is planned to create working groups in the relevant areas to continue to maintain contacts and develop cooperation with the Germany.
